Following our two days of scheduled training, I travelled to Chez Pierre, one of Perth’s best French restaurants. A great range of dishes were on offer during the evening – including confit duck, steak tartare, fish – and a lovely selection of desserts, including the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had!
Our guest speaker for the night covered a number of great topics relating to finance and banking, including some examples of how businesses were paying “what the bank had told them to pay” – assuming that they were getting a good deal because they’d been with that bank for a long time. In most cases, the deal wasn’t very good at all.
