Greetings from the UK! Normally at this time of the year I am ensconced in the pool most days after work and looking forward to the air-conditioning at work as the Brisbane daytime temperatures top out around 34 degrees Celsius… however, this time it is not the case. For the last week I have been fairly cold (read: freezing, but being polite) over here in our UK office in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Last week, Chris and I attended the SSAUK show at St. Pauls, London and I have to say I was very impressed. SSAUK CEO Rennie Schafer is certainly making his presence felt. We had over 400 people attend and it was a great two days. For us ‘tourists’, there was a great river boat cruise down the Thames looking at the sights, followed by a great gala dinner in the London Museum.
This week, Chris and I are attending the Movers and Storers show in Silverstone, home of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, and I am excited! We have around 1,000 people attending this show over the two days and I think we will be well received and I am truly looking forward to speaking to the operators to see where StorMan can assist them run their businesses.
