Jan 31, 2011
As many readers would know, a large part of the state of Queensland was flooded in 2011. Many of you would have seen images of these and the Brisbane CBD floods on the news. Although the Storman office & staff members’ homes were safe, thousands Queensland residents weren’t so lucky; with many homes & possessions completely destroyed.
In terms of the Self Storage industry, we were made aware of a number of facilities that were affected by flooding and have been on hand to assist them in getting back up and running in terms of their computer systems & software.
We wish to thank everyone who emailed us wishing us well & offering support when Storman staff were working from home or friends’ places to keep things running for everyone.
Messages of Support from our Clients
Thank you to everyone who sent us an email or gave us a call to wish our staff support during the floods. We received too many to post, but here are a few of the messages we received…
Thoughts and best wishes to you all. So sorry there is nothing we can do but give and feel for you all. This to me is not sufficient, but would like to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. All I can wish is that our thoughts and prayers for you all can give you the strength to get through this chapter of nature. Stay Safe and Take Care.
– Jan at Glenelg Self Storage
Thanks for the update and all your great work for all of us. We are thankfully high and dry but our thoughts go to other facilities who have not been so lucky. Keep up the good work!
