SSAA dinner & Storman training roadshow in Melbourne

Storman Training Roadshow – Melbourne

Last week, I travelled down to Melbourne for our first Storman Training Roadshow for 2016. Over the course of the week, I met with some of our wonderful users from Storage Masters, who offer self storage in Geelong – an hour south west of Melbourne… as well as Echuca Storage, who offer self storage in Echuca and had travelled south for 2.5 hours for the day of training… a very early start for them!

Finally, the team from Beacon Storage (previously known as South East Caravan Storage), who offer self storage in Pakenham, travelled west for an hour to join and join us for our roadshow! I’m always surprised at the severe fluctuations in Melbourne’s weather – 24 degrees Celsius one day, 39 the next …and a few days containing all four seasons. As they say; “if you don’t like the weather in Melbourne, just wait 20 minutes!”.

Following the training, I headed towards the Crown Casino complex for the location of Thursday evening’s Self Storage Association of Australasia’s Regional Dinner Meeting, held at Neil Perry’s wonderful Spice Temple.

As always, it was wonderful to see so many members travelling into town for the dinner, enjoying some truly amazing food and chatting with one another well into the night. Thank you to everyone who attended our Training Roadshow – and to everyone I met at the SSAA dinner!
